Peaceful Village Raw Vegan Healing Community is a semi-private intentional community located in the northern Amazon region of ecuador. Our land spans more than 21 hectares and is blessed with three pristine rivers, tranquil streams, cascading waterfalls, and untouched mountain forests — both primary and secondary growth.

This land is deeply sacred and uniquely preserved, free from the interference of modern infrastructure. There are no cell towers within a 15+ km radius, and the nearest electricity towers are more than 10 km away. The crystal-clear rivers on our land are community-protected, safe for swimming and drinking. We cultivate more than 60 varieties of plants and fruit trees, while intentionally preserving large areas of native forest.

We want to emphasize that at Peaceful Village, we grow our food using veganic gardening and forestry practices on our land, without any use of nonhuman domesticated animals or anything derived from them, such as manure, bloodmeal, bonemeal, fishmeal, feathermeal, or any other products. Our commitment to not using any chemicals on the land for growing food, even those labeled as “natural” or “organic,” ensures that our produce is non-contaminated and as pure as possible, ethically and consciously-produced. Instead, we utilize our own humanure, urine, vegan compost, and mulch to enrich our soil.

Our approach emphasizes sustainability and biodiversity. We incorporate techniques like crop rotation and companion planting to maintain healthy soil and ecosystems. We invite people to our community to engage with us through workshops on growing methods and sustainable practices, allowing anyone to learn how these methods benefit both health and the environment. People are welcome to come here to see for themselves how we cultivate our land and contribute to a healthier planet.
